another catch up post :)

Wahoo!! once again, I have waited way too long to blog. But in my defense, life has been CRAZY!! Life for our little family has changed drastically, and we are loving it.

First off, I am still pregnant and it has had it's ups and downs. The ups of course are feeling this little guy move around ALL the time! He is constantly kicking, and moving from side to side. At my 32 week apt, he was measuring 33 1/2 weeks and his heartbeat was perfect and strong! The doctor was even impressed at how strong he kicked and moved around-i'll take that as a compliment. haha. The downs...well, he is strong, and loves to kick my ribs. I still have one out of place, but I'm getting used to it. My leg cramps are now non-existent, but have been replaced with heart burn! Thank goodness for mint Tums, I don't think I could survive the night, or any meal now without them! Even though pregnancy is much harder than I ever imagined, I am SO EXCITED to meet my little guy and I am extremely grateful for him and how he has already blessed David's and my life so much!

Other than being pregnant, I have 4 1/2 more days of work!!! WAHOO!!! I have been working at a local bank for the past year, and it has been nice, but I am ready for a change. I love the people I work with, but I miss creativity and challenge. While I will not be going back to work right away, I'm excited to be home and have the ability to do some photography, design and just do some freelance work before the little guy comes!

David has accepted an internship with a company called TNS and is currently on a plane to Thailand!!He is SO EXCITED and I couldn't be prouder of him! He has worked extremely hard and is excited for what is ahead! So, he'll be there traveling around Asia while learning and growing and working hard! While he's over in Thailand, I'll be leaving for Ohio next week and spend some good quality time with my parents before the little guy comes! David will come to Ohio for 2 weeks for the little man's birth, and then head back to Thailand to finish up his internship. After that...well, we'll go wherever the wind takes us!

We have now moved out of our apartment and are staying with our great friends the Day's! They are too good to be true and have been so gracious to let us stay with them! Really it feels like a party every day and it's be great!

We couldn't be happier because we know that this whole adventure is what we need to be doing. While it's hard to be apart, we both know whatever sacrifices me make now will just help us prepare and build a foundation for out little family! Needless to say, we are SO grateful for all of our family and friends who have helped and supported us throughout this journey!
