Kellan's teefer weefers

Kellan has teeth, seven to be exact. Like every other baby, he has been having the time of his life chewing on anything and everything he can. He has a talent of finding the smallest piece of paper or fuzz and eating it. As of late he's been trying to eat my hair. Rather than just hold my hair now, he also pulls it and tries to rip it with his teeth. Awesome right?

This is a ball that we bought him a few weeks ago. We had to cut off the long ends because he started to bit them off. (He would chipmunk the ends in his cheeks and I would find them later on) After we cut off the ends, we let him play with it until he bit a hole in the plastic, then we threw it away.

Despite his unruly habits and ways his teeth are just too cute. His smile is infectious and lights up every room he enters. He is the happiest boy I know and has brought so much joy to everyone he meets. I just love my little guy! Enjoy these few pics of Kellan keeping his widdle teefer weefers nice and clean!

First steps!!

Kellan has been shimming around all of the walls, furniture, peoples legs, really anything that stands and is quasi stable for the past month. I've been going crazy because there have been times where I'll think, " today is the day! He's going to start to walk!" and then it never happens. He stands and then gets excited and sits down and crawls. He is too impatient to walk and it is frustrating!

On Saturday night Kellan finally took actual steps. He took 4 straight into my arms and it was pure heaven! After that, I tried to get him to walk to me and get it on video for David since he was away on business, but these were the best I could do. I am so excited and proud of him and can't wait for all of his upcoming progress. Wahoo!!

Swings, slides, and ice cream!

Sorry for the picture overload, but I just can't get over how juicy Beef has been today. I feel like his personality is really starting to show these past few weeks and I can't get over how much I love him more each day!

Today, Kellan and I went to the park. Grandpa Bryan took a break and joined us and we played on the swings, the slide, and got some ice cream afterwards. It was so much fun and was a perfect day!

Kellan has loved his jumper and lately he's been pulling his feet up and twirling in circles and swinging back and forth. His face was lighting up and just loving life being able to swing and feel the wind on his face. He was laughing so hard and then just sat back and enjoyed the ride.

Grandpa Bryan decided that he would join in on the fun as well!

Kellan and Grandpa were both very focused on their 'swing pump'

This is one of my favorite photos of the day, Grandpa and Kellan were just exchanging glances at each other.

After the swings, Kellan was feeling adventurous and just HAD to go down the slide. Once again, he loved it and was eager to go down the slide again and again.

Kellan loved twisting and sliding down the slide in different ways. Too much fun!

Hugs and laughs with Grandpa!!

After having the best time at the park, Grandpa treated Kellan to his first ice cream cone! Our family has a slight obsession with ice cream and we felt it necessary to introduce him to the delicious treat in time to fully enjoy his summer. It was great, and he LOVED it! He couldn't get enough, and was a little peeved each time I cleaned up his cone so it wouldn't drip everywhere.

He even loved the cone!

screaming for joy...and more
After the last bite, Kellan was eagerly looking for more ice cream and was a little heartbroken when there wasn't any. It was a great a great end to a perfect morning and we are both looking forward to our next ice cream cone from Bids!
