Can I just say that I seriously cannot believe that Kellan is already 6 months old?! I am in awe, and am just amazed at how much he has grown and accomplished so far in his life. I am so proud to be his momma and can't wait to see what things are to come. [I just read over these first few sentences and you would think that I was talking about my son who just graduated...not turned 6 months old-haha]
Well, these past few months have been filled with SO MUCH, so of course, I'll just list some of the highlights and do some better posts later on.
At 6 months, Kellan:
Weighs: 16 lbs 8 oz (50%)
Height: 28 1/2 in (off the charts...)

Kellan LOVES to crawl!! He started crawling Thanksgiving weekend and has been on the move ever since. He now loves to chase people and play his version of hide and go seek. It's hilarious and he can't get enough of crawling! Ok, by crawling, I mean he does a mean army crawl. He will get up on his knees and propel himself forward to reach something, but he's content just army crawling everywhere. He has suddenly started to plank and get into pushup position and hold it. Also, he does downward dog like a champ. :) He loves chasing balled up paper, and anything that crinkles or lights up. His favorite is my cell phone. :)
He is the happiest baby in the world. He is always smiling and laughing. When we're in public, he's taking in the whole world. He's so alert and watches everyone's every move. He seriously never blinks and is rarely caught not smiling. He's always behaving great, and loves to play with everyone he meets. He's just too good to be true.
Also, Kellan has started to teethe! For months I've stated that he's teething because of his excessive drooling and gnawing on EVERYTHING, but it's actually here. He's teething. I'm kind of sad and a little scared because all I know is my toothless grinning son who has the cutest smile in the whole wide world. I love it and know that he'll start to look completely different with teeth now. Silly I know, but I just can't imagine my little guy with pearly whites yet!
Kellan has met santa twice this season and loves him with all his heart. He has no idea who the man is, but, he loves his beard and refuses to let go. (especially when his turn is over) Along with meeting Santa, cutting a tooth, and crawling, Kellan get's to meet his Aunt Jana for the first time in 4 days! We couldn't be more excited for her to come home from her mission in Germany, and can't wait for some good quality time! Wahoo!!!
Well, as I'm thinking about my little man, I'm starting to tear up (thank you mommy hormones) and so I'll keep this post short and sweet. I love my little beef, and couldn't be happier.
