Kellan's jumper

Words cannot even begin to express the joy that I have watching Kellan in his jumper. Seriously-this little juice of a boy LOVES life. He's slowly figuring out that he can jump in it, but for now, twirling and some slight bounces here and there will do. :) Because Kellan is a little skinny we have to put a blanket in front of him so he can't sit up longer and not get lost in the bottom of it. 

I seriously love his legs and how they stick out and look so skinny and spidery. haha and I just realized that the picture below makes it look like he has a unibrow-don't worry, he doesn't. Just his brow line, he has 2 separate eyebrows. :) but besides that, he can sit in his little jumper for a few min and then when he gets tired he just sucks on the side of the thing and growls. I love this little guy!!

3 months!!!

Yay! Happy 1/4 birthday to Kellan! I wish we could really celebrate, but unfortunately, Kellan is a little under the weather. He has his first cold, and as much as I hate seeing him be stuffy and hear his little cough, he is especially cuddly and I don't mind that at all. But let's not focus on that right now.

Well, Kellan has had a very eventful month! He's had many "firsts" and I'm excited for more to come! 

At 3 months Kellan...

Rolls over! He is now mobil, and can't be stopped!! Once he's over he does a superman pose and then tries to crawl...depending on what surface he's on, he can move a TINY bit. Thankfully, he has no idea what to do with his arms yet, so he does frog kicks and at times propels himself forward an inch or two.  (I'll try and post a video soon) 

Is ticklish! He loves raspberries on his tummy and when David or grandpa growls into his neck. He smiles really big, laughs, squirms and squeals whenever it's done. 

Loves to go outside. If he is fussy all we need to do is take him outside and he usually calms down instantly. He loves to look around and also the feeling of grass on his feet. 

Stands up! Not on his own quite yet, but will hold onto our hands for balance as he pulls himself up. He loves to do squats and is developing some pretty strong legs! 

Is sleeping through most of the night! (best accomplishment so far) He has consistently sleep 5-6 hours straight for a few weeks now and it is HEAVEN! I feel like a new woman and I can tell Kellan is happier and when he's happier, I'm happier! 

Loves to watch TV and cuddle with anyone that will hold him

Hates his car seat. I mean, he'll fall asleep in it once the car starts going, but man oh man, does this little guy hate being in it for long period's of time. He loves to be "outside" of the car seat and look around! He's so curious! 

Loves to be on his back-he loves to kick and squirm and now add rolling over to that and he's a happy boy! 

Is loved by Bella. Kellan has a yoga mat that he likes to hang out on in the Kitchen and since Bella is always there, she has taken a liking to Kellan. Have no fears, 99% of the time, we don't let her lick him, but as you see in the picture below, sometimes we give in and let her lick ONLY his feet. 

Kellan LOVES football! He went to his first football game this past Friday and he loved everything about it! (even dad's yelling) 

Obviously, I can't get enough of this little guy and I am so blessed and proud to be his mama!

This morning as I was playing with Kellan I realized that just a few weeks ago he could hardly squirm in a circle and now he's doing full circles on his back and allllmost flipping to his tummy. He is constantly moving and is happiest on his back. I can't believe that he's going to be 3 months in just a few days! Since he'll have a 3 month post soon, here are just a few pictures of his favorite activities: 

Kellan LOVES standing up and bouncing. As you can see, he's mid screech and loving life! This is also one of his favorite outfits that he's almost grown out of! Crazy! 

Kellan LOVED shark week, almost as much as he love the Republican National Convention. He loves cuddling with whomever on the couch and watch tv at night. :)

Last of all, Kellan loves Monk Monk. Monk Monk is his blue monkey that he's had since birth. (Thanks sis. M!) He won't play with anything else and loves to alligator roll with it on his blanket! Here he is ready for bed wearing his monkey slippers and holding Monk Monk 

Seriously, I can't get enough of this little guy! At times I would wonder how people could only talk about their kids and now I know! Kellan pretty much sqawks and squirms and yet I could talk all day...heaven help me once he can crawl! :) 

BEST SUNDAY EVER!!

Sunday was a monumental day for Kellan. He came home in the clothes he left home in!!!! WAHOO :) So of course we needed to document and had to share with the world his most recent accomplishment.
